Vedic Thai Yoga is an ancient healing tradition, where hands, feet, arms, and elbows are used to help release tension at various points in the body. Stretching, while applying pressure, can free up tightened joints, allowing you to move better, smoother, and with less pain.This workshop teaches you how to position your body to apply pressure and stretches, thus giving yourself a massage!The one-hour workshop consists of:
- 10 minute silent meditation
- 5 minutes Thai on each foot and leg
- 5 minutes Thai on each hand and arm
- 5 minutes Thai on neck and shoulders
- 10 minutes Thai on face
- 10 minutes yoga asana
- 10 minutes closing silent meditation
- 5 minutes for questions
Participants please wear loose, comfortable clothing

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR LINDA KING
When her younger brother died from complications with obesity, she made it her mission to helpanyone willing to take the first step to better health. She went to school for a year to become a certified personal trainer and nutritional counselor. Linda believes in a balanced approach to health and wellness, incorporating yoga, weights, stability, and functional movement into her classes and individual clients. She is also CPR/1st Aid certified for humans and animals. Currently Linda is in the 500 hour Advanced Vinyasa Training with Rolf Gates, and nearing completion of her Vedic Thai Yoga Master Certification. In addition to in-home personal training, Linda teaches TRX classes at The Solebury Club and Yoga classes at Dragonfly.
