Come join instructor Joe Simek and find out if yoga is right for you! Dragonfly’s Men’s Yoga Challenge consists of four 1-hour yoga classes for men only. Designed for those who are new to yoga, these classes will introduce you to a challenging yoga workout, including poses that specifically benefit men’s health. We’ll also learn useful breathing and meditation techniques you can use everyday.

First Session: September 9 – 30

Why should guys try yoga?

1) Yoga can be a fantastic workout! If you want it to be, a yoga practice can kick your butt by building muscle and getting your heart rate up. It can also be restorative, and the perfect balance to your running, cross fit, biking, etc. We’ll learn both!

2) Yoga can get rid of that back pain you’ve had, well, forever. How many times have you said “I can’t do yoga because I’m not flexible.” That’s the point of yoga — to get flexible! Learn to stretch ALL the muscles in your body that create that horrible back pain.

3) Yoga helps you concentrate! Yoga poses, even without meditation, can help improve your focus, and improved focus helps you get more done. In our world of distractions, focus is everything.

4) Yoga can chill you out! There’s a reason your wife leaves for yoga class all stressed out, but then returns all relaxed. Come find out why.
