[Saucha] How do you purify your body? How do you purify your mind? How do you purify your spirit?

The practice of Yoga provides countless ways to purify the habits of mind that cause the most suffering. Suffering that can cause imbalance of mind, body, and spirit. When we practice saucha we can rest into our true joyful and loving nature. Often ways that we practice purification become ineffective and we have to check in from time to time to reevaluate. Here are a few ideas… eat nourishing and whole foods. Be mindful to cleanse after being around people who bombard your energy. Try a mantra, breath work, or asana. Connect with the earth through movement and grounding practices. This can have a profound effect. When it comes to purifying the mind we can be more mindful with media consumption as well as toxic and negative thought patterns. Daily meditation helps immensely. Purify the mind by acknowledging traumas of ancestors that have been passed down, working with them, and using practices to transform trauma into healing. Purify the spirit by letting go of that which no longer serves the greater good, anything that causes imbalance, or prevents manifestation and liberation. How do you create space? How do you purify and cleanse in order to stay in alignment with your values? What tools have you been given and how do you use them?
